[28th] Congratulations on the 10th anniversary of the opening of "Ikiiki Salon Kamoi"!

I was invited to the “Ikiiki Salon Kamoi 10th Anniversary Ceremony” held at Kamoi Central Hall on November 29.
On the day, wearing a mask, checking body temperature and hand disinfection, and the venue was thoroughly social distance and infectious disease prevention.
Since its opening in September 2010, “Ikiiki Salon Kamoi” has been loved by many people as a place where local elderly people can easily drop in and talk. The Kamoi Union Neighborhood Association plays a central role in the operation, with the cooperation of commissioning organizations such as health promotion staff in the district and senior citizens' associations.
At the time of the salon, lively events such as vaudeville and magic are also held, and unfortunately it is now closed due to the influence of COVID-19 infection, but it seems that the evening salon Kamoi is being held as a social gathering place where people can talk about local activities while drinking once a month.
For 10 years, I strongly felt the strength of the local people who have been active even in the midst of drastic changes in society and the environment. I hope you will continue to be active in the future.
