[54th] Participated in the award ceremony for the Midori Ward anti-crime program Poster Contest

November 22, 2022

Last updated on November 25, 2022.

On Tuesday, November 22, at Midori police department, an award ceremony was held for the Midori Ward anti-crime program Poster Contest (sponsored by the Green anti-crime program Association), and 10 works were awarded out of 5th and 6th grade elementary school students.
This year we received 497 entries, more than twice as much as last year, indicating a growing awareness of anti-crime program.
I also had a great deal of trouble selecting works for the Director General Prize, and I was very worried about choosing all works with a feeling of "don't forgive crime!", But this year I chose the work of Tamao Uchiyama, a fifth-year student at Morinodai Elementary School, who created a poster on the theme of "special fraud," which is increasing in Midori Ward.
As a ward office, we plan to wrap Uchiyama's work on a Yokohama municipal bus and enlighten them so that special fraud damage does not occur.
The Midori Ward will continue to raise awareness to prevent crime.
