On Saturday, February 4, the Midori Ward Sports Association (Chairman: Mutsuo Hamazono) organized a gathering of sports peoplepublic hallMidori Ward.
For the first time in three years, the awards ceremony, lectures, and attractions have been resumed.
Those who have made outstanding contributions to the promotion and development of various sports in Midori Ward were awarded the Midori Ward Sports Achievement Award and the Midori Ward Sports Promotion Award. Thank you for your continued efforts to create local bonds and contact activities through sports, as well as to create vibrancy and liveliness in the city.
The venue was wrapped in a peaceful festive atmosphere, with bouquet presentations and thank-you greetings from related parties such as affiliated organizations.
At the lecture, Ai Todo, a physiotherapist at the Yokohama City Sports Medical Science Center, talked about the activities of the Japan Paralympic National Team (Goalball) during the COVID-19 pandemic and life in the athlete village. I will deepen my understanding of parasports.
At the end, we concluded with the performance of wadaiko by Osako power, which echoes up to the stomach by the creative Japanese drum group.
I would like to thank all the people concerned for their efforts to hold the event in the pre-COVID-19 format. We will continue to work with you to create a bright and energetic Midori Ward where everyone can enjoy sports throughout their lives, regardless of age, gender, or disability.
