[24th] I visited the Kirigaoka Union Neighborhood Association Festival.
July 17, 2022
Kirigaoka Union Neighborhood Association hosted the Kiri no Sato Festival at Kiri no Sato Ground on Sunday, July 17th.
The Kirigaoka Union Neighborhood Association performed Bon Odori every year during this period, but this year it was planned and implemented as the "Kiri no Sato Festival". Thank you for the efforts of local people, including sports promotion staff and youth instructors, regarding infectious disease countermeasures.
On the day of the event, children held “Omikoshi carrying” and “Breading Competition”, and there were also mock shops such as “Yakisoba” and “Wataame”. It's the scenery I've seen after a long time.
Many people, including children and families, came to the venue and it was a great success. During the past two years of COVID-19 pandemic, I realized that local people were looking forward to such opportunities. You will be healed by the smiles of the children.
In a new lifestyle, I feel reassuring the power of the region where events are resumed in a way that suits the situation at that time. As a ward office, we will continue to work with local residents. Thank you very much for your good time.
