　At Miho Elementary School, from Monday, November 7 to Wednesday, November 9, 26 elementary school studenｔ members of the school lunch Committee conducted a food drive. This is the second initiative following March this year, and 151 food items were collected with the cooperation of many people.
　On Tuesday, November 22, a presentation ceremony was held at an elementary school to receive these foods to the ward office, and I attended. .
　After thanking me for providing food, Mr. Eri Yasutomi gave a greeting and said, "The members of the school lunch Committee were able to gather a lot of food. Even if each person's power is small, I think it turns out that everyone's strength will be a great force if everyone joins together. "
　Finally, the representative child said, "If we didn't do a food drive, it might have been thrown away." I'm glad to be able to reduce food loss as much as possible. " Through this food drive initiative, I realized that all the children have grown up.
　The food provided this time will be donated to people and organizations in need of food in the ward through the Midori Ward Japan National Council of Social Welfare.
