[17th] The 2022 General Assembly of the Midori Ward Sports Association was held.
May 23, 2022
The 2022 General Meeting of Midori Ward Sports Association (Chairman: Kei Sugiyama) was held at the Midori Ward Office on Saturday, May 21. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the General Assembly for FY2020 and FY3 was held in writing, and this year it was held for the first time in three years since FY2019.
Chairman Sugiyama, who has been the chairman for more than 10 years, has retired, and new chairman Mutsuo Hamazono (Kendo) has been appointed. Mr. Sugiyama was newly appointed as Honorary Chairman.
Through various sports competitions and events rooted in the community, many organizations involved in the Midori Ward Sports Association have contributed to promoting sports in the city, promoting the health of residents and building bonds in the community.
We believe that fiscal 2022 will be a year when we will take measures against infectious diseases and resume sporting events. We look forward to your continued cooperation in the future.
