[68th] The 42nd Yamashita Marathon and "Look from the Eye! I participated in the "Radio Exercise" course.

The 42nd Yamashita Marathon hosted by Yamashita Union Neighborhood Association
On Sunday, January 29, the 42nd Yamashita Marathon (Chairman of Yamashita Union Neighborhood Association Shigeharu Suganuma) was held.
This course is full of local colors using the Nishi hassaku and Oyama Farm Road. On the day, a total of 303 athletes, from infants to elementary and junior high school students to the general public, run through the 2- or 4-kilometer course. From the ward office, I, Deputy Director General, Chief of Yamashita District, and Chief of Ward Administration Promotion Division participated.
In the severe cold, my chest rang involuntarily and cheered desperately as the players ran as hard as possible while turning their cheeks red.
Following "Midori Ward Running Festa 2022" in December, players from "Panasonic Angels" (= Captain Shiori Morita, Sakiko Naito and Yuka Hori) who are also famous for women's Ekiden also rushed as guest runners.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Allied Neighborhood Association, the Youth Development Association, and other related organizations and related organizations for their efforts.
There are many events that have been forced to be canceled, but I hope that the COVID-19 pandemic countermeasures will also enter a new stage, various events by local residents will be resumed, and that such traditional local events will continue forever.
Greetings from Chairman Neighborhood Association Suganuma of Yamashita Alliance

"That's your eyes! This amazing "Radio Exercise" course
From 10:00, a radio exercise course was held at the Green Sports Center, sponsored by the Regional Promotion Division Ward (* co-sponsored by the Green Sports Center and the Midori Ward Sports Promotion Committee Liaison Council).
Although this course was planned in FY2021 and was held until the recruitment of participants, it was unavoidable to cancel immediately before the spread of COVID-19 infection. We received a large number of voices wishing to hold the event, and we planned and recruited again. On the day, about 120 people, mainly middle-aged and elderly people, participated.
Lecturer Mika Okamoto and assistant Reina Tateno and Hiroko Totsuka, who are familiar on NHK TV and radio, came.
I receive very energetic, fun and easy-to-understand explanations and guidance, but I am surprised that it is completely different from the movements I had learned since I was a child. Listen to the original purpose of each movement, and feel with your body that it works well on each part with correct and effective actions! As the organizer says, it was exactly "from the eyes."
The severe cold of winter continues, but as one of the exercises that you can feel free to come up with, please send a healthy day with radio exercises.
Turn it forward while being aware of the growth of your body.
I also learned how to sit in a chair.
It feels good if you turn your body large.
Lecturer Okamoto-san, assistant Tateno-san and Totsuka-san
