[23rd] The ward old festival was held!

Last updated on September 26, 2024.

We visited the "Kyoren Festival" held at "Midori Honobonoso" in Tokaichiba.
First of all, what caught my eye when I entered the venue was a wonderful work exhibition. I enjoyed painting, photography, Japanese calligraphy and handicrafts all with impressive masterpieces. In addition, karaoke competitions, handicraft classes, exercise and gymnastics, health checks, Go shogi and mahjong booths, cafe spaces, etc. were set up in each room in the venue, and I also participated in some.
I would like to introduce one of them. It is a "fumanette exercise" that puts a net on the floor in a grid and walks rhythmically without stepping on the net. It can be expected to improve balance and cognitive function when walking, and can be enjoyed regardless of age or physical strength. The rules are simple, but it was surprisingly difficult when I tried it, and it was exciting if there were people who could do it without mistake.
I would like to pay tribute to the Elderly Club for their long-term activities, such as watching over the area and contact activities, including this ward retirement festival. I would like to thank Chairman Hirai and other officers and stakeholders for their efforts.
I hope you will continue to stay well.
