[40th] "Midrin Marche 2024" was held!

On Saturday, December 7, the Midlin Marche 2024 was held at the site of Midori police department, a 6-minute walk from the south exit of JR Nakayama Station. The event was held for the second time since last year, and was held for the purpose of fostering momentum for the GREEN × EXPO 2027 and promoting the locally grown and consumed. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the co-sponsored Yokohama Agricultural Cooperative (JA Yokohama), the store owners who cooperated, and related companies and organizations.
It's been about two years until "GREEN x EXPO 2027" to be held in Kamiseya, Yokohama. From within the ward, JR Tokaichiba Station will arrive and depart from shuttle bus to the venue. We would like to enliven together with the cooperation of the local people.
In addition, Midori Ward is one of the most active areas of agriculture and locally grown and consumed. According to farmers, "vegetables fall from the moment they are harvested." I feel that one of the great attractions of Midori Ward is that the beautiful rural scenery spreads nearby, the opportunity to experience the harvest and there are many direct sales outlets in the ward where you can buy freshly picked vegetables immediately. The Midori Ward Office also holds a fresh green direct sales shop every Tuesday and Thursday, so please drop in.
