[42nd] Multicultural Understanding Lecture "Let's Understand Different Cultures in the World" was held!

On Saturday, January 25, a multicultural understanding lecture titled “Let's Understand Different Cultures of the World: Multicultural and Colorful community development” was held at Midori public hall, sponsored by the Green International Lounge and co-hosted by the ward Regional Promotion Division.
Today, Midori Ward is home to more than 5,500 foreigners, or about 3% of the population of about 180,000 people, about twice as much as 10 years ago. By country, there are many people from India and China, but in recent years the number of people from various countries, mainly in Asia, has increased.
Mariclistine, the representative of the Asia and Women's Children Network (AWC), who is familiar with many TV programs, will be invited as a lecturer so that more inhabitants of the ward can deepen their interest and understanding of "multicultural coexistence". I was able to welcome you.

Based on his own background and various episodes that have been experienced in Japan and abroad, Mali said, "There are various differences between people, not only foreigners, but also Japanese and family members. I introduced it in a fun and easy-to-understand manner.

I would be grateful to everyone who participated in this lecture if they could continue to promote "multicultural coexistence" that can be done in their activities in familiar areas and organizations to which they belong.
The ward office will continue to work on community development, where everyone can live easily, regardless of differences in country, culture and language.
