[24th] I would like cooperation for 2024 Red Feather Community Fundraising Street Fundraising
Last updated on October 4, 2024.
This year, the “Red Feather Community Fundraising Campaign” has started nationwide for six months from October 1 to the end of March next year.
The Red Feather Community Fund started as a private movement in 1947, shortly after the war, and was initially supported mainly by the affected welfare facilities, and then based on the law (current Social Welfare Law), It is a donation used to promote welfare. In Midori Ward, on October 1, the start date of the exercise, four stations in the ward (Nakayama, Kamoi, Tokaichiba and Nagatsuta) called for cooperation in community fundraising campaigns from local groups operating in Midori Ward.
As usual, I would like to thank the local welfare committee members and children's committee members, the district Japan National Council of Social Welfare, volunteers, persons with disabilities and staff who attended the facilities for supporting persons with disabilities who cooperated in such a fund-raising activity in a very busy place, Thank you again for taking this opportunity.
I hope that these efforts will help the people of survivors in Ishikawa Prefecture who are still suffering from disasters, and I also visited each station and raised funds together.
Thank you very much for your cooperation at each venue.
We are also asking for donations through Neighborhood Association. For continuation, development of welfare activity in ward, I would like cooperation of inhabitants of a ward.
