09.1000 days before GREEN × EXPO 2027 Event

On June 22, to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of the GREEN × EXPO 2027, Izun distributed morning glory seeds and original picks at the circular plaza in front of the ward office.
In Public Works Office, we distributed flower seedlings to the park protection society, and at Fujizuka Park and Ryokuen Inariya Park, I planted flower seedlings together with the park protection society. The Kanto area entered the rainy season the day before, and I was worried about the weather, but the day was blessed with fine weather. At Fujizuka Park, children in the neighborhood also participated, and it was said that children were actively encouraged to participate in protection society activities. . At Ryokuen Inari Valley Park, by continuing to plant hydrangea every year, 250 hydrangeas are now blooming, and neighbors are now more aware of the hydrangea park.
In both parks, I thought that they continued to be loved by the community thanks to the people of the protection society working to maintain the environment every day. We will continue to value the water and greenery of Izumi Ward, and enjoy the GREEN × EXPO 2027, which will be held in Kamiseya three years later, in Izumi Ward.
