　On October 6, a gathering of respect for the elderly was held in the northern part of Izumi. Approximately 170 people over the age of 75 came on the day and enjoyed guitar performances, skits and hula dances. In the northern part of Izumi, taking into account the recent intense heat, it is held not on the day of respect for the elderly, but at this time when the heat has settled down. Also, this year, a blue sheet was laid in the gymnasium so that you can enter with your feet. According to the story, there are many similar shoes, and some people wear shoes on the way home and return by mistake, so it seems that they changed to allow them to enter with their feet from this year. In addition, many students from Izumino Junior High School also participated as volunteers, and everyone actively spoke and guided them. .
