This year, Izumi Ward's autumn tradition "Yokohama Izumi Kabuki Performance" was held at Izumi public hall for two days.
This year's performances were "Futacho Choku Waki Nikki", the second stage "Sumoba" and the eighth stage "Hikimado", and a very large number of people came. Was. In addition, Kabuki buns of the familiar Kotobukiyoshi Kapo were sold and sold out early, and it was a great success for two days. On the day of the event, Mayor Takeharu Yamanaka, Mayor of Yokohama, received a message of support with appreciation for inheriting the traditional culture rooted in the area, and I introduced it.
When it comes to Kabuki, it feels difficult and the threshold is high, but at Yokohama Izumi Kabuki, it will explain the syntax in front of each curtain, so I think everyone can enjoy it. There are local Kabuki played by local people in various places, but `` Yokohama Izumi Kabuki '' is a full-fledged Kabuki that is performed by teachers who are also active on the authentic stage. I think it is characterized by performing Kabuki.
