The Yokohama Seya Lions Club donated Shoko Kanazawa's calligraphy (April 5, 2024).

　On March 19, just three years before the opening of GREEN x EXPO 2027, Seya Yokohama Lions Club donated "calligraphy".

　The donated calligraphy was a celebration to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Yokohama Seya Lions Club in May last year, and two works, "Flower" and "Sho", which were written by calligrapher Shoko Kanazawa, It was displayed on a screen. We have decided to donate this time because we hope that we will further excite the GREEN x EXPO 2027.

　The donation ceremony was attended by people involved in the Yokohama Seya Lions Club, Shoko Kanazawa, and Yasuko, my mother. I showed off the calligraphy and gave a letter of appreciation with gratitude. I am very pleased that many people came from Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association, the Children's Committee of the Consumer Affairs Committee, and local welfare offices to celebrate the donation together. Thank you very much to all of you who came.

　In commemoration of this donation and the fact that it was just three years before the GREEN x EXPO 2027 was held, everyone who participated cut the cherry blossoms on the Navy Road. I also had a bowl of cutting with you. cutting has decided to take it home and raise it if you wish. Shoko Kanazawa commented, "I hope the cherry blossoms will bloom beautifully." Three years later, at the opening of GREEN × EXPO 2027, I hope that the cherry blossoms with the legacy of the cherry blossoms on the Naval Road, which had been carefully grown, are growing in various places. In addition, we will keep you at the ward office and watch carefully.

　The calligraphy you received is on display in front of General Affairs Division on the third floor of the ward office. "Flowers," one of the themes of GREEN x EXPO 2027, and "Sho," which represents the leap of Seya Ward, are moving forward at the ward office. I would like to see the inhabitants of the ward by all means and look forward to the GREEN x EXPO 2027, which has been less than three years before the event.
