The annual event of early spring in Seya Ward was held (March 6, 2025).

　During the three consecutive holidays from February 22nd to 24th, when the cold weather was long, an event was held at Hydrangea Plaza and Seya public hall to tell Seya Ward about spring.
　The 10th Seya Chakado Association Exhibition, sponsored by the Seya Chakado Association, held at Hydrangea Plaza, was held for the first time in 11 months since the autumn hospitality at nagayamon Park was not possible during the construction period of nagayamon Park.
　"Spring and Autumn Hospitality" uses the space of the gallery and conference room at Hydrangea Plaza to display various "flowers" that make you feel spring, from large works like objects to works of elementary school students who experienced ikebana for the first time. I was able to enjoy tea at the Rire-style tea ceremony.
　Elementary and junior high school students' "First Ikebana" was a wonderful work that did not make any work feel "why" and faced "flowers", and it was a masterpiece that I couldn't imagine for the first time.
　The works of the members were calculated in detail, including the spread of shadows by lighting, and were tasteful works that made you fully feel the sense of the season. Among them, Dr. Sakimoto's work, which is regarded as a vase by combining Hinoki stumps, was a wonderful one that made me feel the history of Seya.
　It was a wonderful event where you could enjoy delicious tea among various "flowers" and enjoy "Ikebana" and "tea ceremony", which are representative cultures of Japan. I'm looking forward to seeing the "Autumn Hospitality" at nagayamon Park this fall.

　At the 48th “Welfare Charity Spring Dance” held in Seya public hall, organized by the Seya Ward folk dance Association, executives of the folk dance Association and 40 groups of members of the folk dance Association presented their daily lessons.
　In addition to "folk dance", dances of various genres, such as belly dance and hula dance, were performed, and both the performers and the viewers were enjoying themselves seriously and happily. Finally, there is also a time for everyone at the venue to dance "Yokohama Hana Expo Hanadori", and I am really grateful that everyone in Seya Ward is excited about the GREEN × EXPO 2027 approaching two years later.
　The members of the folk dance Association have also spread the dance of "Yokohama Hana Expo Hanadadori" at the Seya Festival and Bon Odori. We hope that everyone will dance together at this year's Bon Odori and Seya Festival to foster the momentum of GREEN x EXPO 2027.
