Let's go! The 19th Seya Karuta Tournament was held (February 21, 2025)
On January 19 (Sun), the 19th Seya Karuta Tournament was held at the Seya Center Gymnasium.
This year, 38 teams and a total of 109 elementary school students from 38 teams participated, and a heated battle to blow off the cold was unfolded.
Let's go! This year, I played the drum at the start of the game.
The gaze at the picture card is serious.
Players and supporters, such as teams participating in matching uniforms and teams preparing cheering fans just like idols, are full of energy!
The silence visited by the signal of a drum.
After that, when the reading volunteers "Kaze no Kai" in the ward read out the bills, the entire venue will boil up at once as if they were responding to the quick bill collection by the Setagaya.
There is tears in the eyes of the player who has lost unfortunately…。 It was evident that I had been practicing hard for the tournament, and I was impressed by watching.
The upper grades are especially close! There was a close match.
Play against second grader with Vice Director General! We lost again this year
As an organizer, I would like to thank Seya Ward Youth Instructors for preparing children to have fun and passionate competition.
Next time, we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the event. I sincerely hope that the "Seya History Karuta", which is packed with the history and culture of Seya, will be loved and passed on by local children.
