　At present, Seya Ward has 159 members of the Consumer Affairs Committee and Children's Committee act as "the closest consultants for welfare."
　As a local welfare officer and children's committee, you can listen to your concerns about child care and nursing care for those living in the district in charge, and connect to specialized organizations such as the ward office, community care plaza, ward Shakyo, etc. As a member of the District Consumer Affairs Committee Children's Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "District Children's Association") composed of 12 districts, we work on creating places and places for local residents to gather.
　This time, the Akuwa Minami District Children's Association (Chairman: Shigeru Suzuka) was awarded the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare Award for Social Welfare Merit in 2024 as an excellent activity group for the public welfare officer. On February 27 (Thursday), we visited Akuwa Community Care Plaza and handed a certificate of commendation and souvenir to Chairman Suzuka and Vice Chairman Miyamoto in front of the 16 committee members who had gathered.

　The Akuwa Minami District Children's Association has a `` meal party '' where elderly people living alone in the area can enjoy handmade meals and various attractions planning in even-numbered months, and mothers raising children in odd months. Both have been running a "Childcare Talking Party" where you can make acquaintances and exchange various information on child care for more than 20 years.
　Through such a "meeting", a face-to-face relationship is created in the community, and the residents can have fun interacting with each other in the Akuwa Southern District Community Welfare and Health Plan aims to create a hometown town that wants to continue living forever ~ Let's connect together with everyone! 　Mr. Suzuka also said, "The accumulation of activities of various seniors as well as the incumbent members of the local welfare committee have led to this award," and the activities of the past members of the local welfare committee have been awarded this time.
