This year, I visited the Kogiku Bonsai Exhibition (December 20, 2024).
Last month, I visited the "Kogiku Bonsai Exhibition" hosted by the members of the Seya Kikuyukai.
At nagayamon Park in November, autumn leaves were about to begin, and the atmosphere was filled with the scent of chrysanthemums and the atmosphere of autumn.
Chrysanthemum is said to have a lot of flowers during the exhibition season in November if the minimum temperature of 20 ° C or less lasts for about three days, but this summer as you know He said that it was very difficult to finish the work, and that it was difficult to adjust the flowering to the exhibition schedule.
Looking at the work, I am surprised to see that chrysanthemums made in a limited time of one year show various expressions. I feel strange that it will become a "bonsai" with such expressions in one year, such as "branching" that makes you feel Furuki I feel strange.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the members of the Setani Kikuyukai, who hold a wonderful exhibition every year.
At this year's venue, "Let's Make Hana Seyamaru!" The works of everyone who participated in the project were also exhibited.
"Let's make a flower Seyamaru!" In the Project, participants who participated in a workshop by the members of the Kikuyukai were challenged to make "dome chrysanthemum" from April. . With the support of the Kikuyukai, works that survived the intense summer were lined up. "I think many people grew chrysanthemums for the first time, but it's wonderful to create so far under the harsh summer conditions," said Kikuyukai.
I was taking on the challenge, but when the leaves began to turn white on the way, I decided to leave them to the person in charge of Regional Promotion Division, and I realized the difficulty of growing them. I enjoyed seeing the wonderful chrysanthemums lined up. By the way, the chrysanthemums that I grew up halfway were in full bloom with the appropriate care afterwards.
In the next project, we plan to hold a lecture on dome chrysanthemum cultivation in March. We will inform you in the public information Yokohama February issue, so please join us.
nagayamon Park had been partially refurbished, but it will appear again later this year. Every year, Japanese enkianthus in December and Tsuwabuki in January are wonderful, so please take a walk.
