On November 15, a commendation ceremony was held at the Yokohama City Park Protection Association in Kenmin Hall, Kanagawa, and 10 members of the Midori Ward were commended for their long-standing achievements and recognized the outstanding achievements of one organization.

138 protection associations have been formed at 150 parks in the city, and they are engaged in activities such as patrols, cleaning, and mowing of the park.
