On Tuesday, February 20, an award ceremony was held for the Midori Ward Composition Contest for Brightening Society. With the aim of creating a safe, secure and bright society free from crime and delinquency, this campaign is undertaken in cooperation with the Presidency, Rehabilitation Women's Association, the Union Neighborhood Association and the police, and an essay contest is held every year.

This time, we selected 6 Excellence Awards and 2 Special Awards from the 75 entries submitted (5 Kirigaoka Gakuen Elementary School, 1 Morinodai Elementary School, 2 Tana Junior High School).
Looking through the essay, important thoughts that we must be aware of, such as "I want to improve the area through greetings" and "Importance of recognizing each other even if the culture is different" I was very impressed.

I hope that this kind of initiative will lead to the next generation of safe and secure community development. This essay contest will be held in the next fiscal year, so please apply as many applications as possible.
