[3rd] The creeping phlox of Tsurumi River riverbed near Kamoi Station is blooming beautifully.
April 18, 2023
On Tuesday, April 18, we went to see creeping phlox at Tsurumi River riverbed near Kamoi Station. The creeping phlox was planted by the members of the Green River and Wind Society, which regularly engage in activities such as cleaning and flower planting.
It was just the best time to see, and the blooming creeping phlox was very impressive. It was also explained that many plants grow naturally in the surrounding riverbed. Although it is an urban area with large commercial facilities such as "LaLaport Yokohama", it is a valuable place where you can feel the rich nature close to the station.
The Green River and Wind Society organizes events to make people feel familiar with the Tsurumi River so that Midori Ward can be considered his hometown. It seems that a canoe experience party will be held during the consecutive holidays in May, but it is very popular and the frame has been filled in no time.
