[35th] We attended the completion ceremony of Midori "People and Town" school

On Saturday, November 11, the 2023 Green "People and Town" school completion ceremony was held.
In the 18th ward of Yokohama, we are developing a collaborative community development University project. In Midori Ward, the program is offered under the name of the “People and Town” School. At the ceremony, 12 ninth-year students were given a certificate of completion by Mr. Yoshihiko Nawada, a professor of the Faculty of Law at Hosei University, who is the president of the school.
In a reply by the 9th student representative, "I came to Midori Ward and learned about the" People and Town "school at a 'walk cafe' where I happened to stop by. I had a vague desire to contribute to society, but I didn't know what to do. However, at the school, I met wonderful people who listened to my favorite "remote island" interestingly and positively, and I wanted to create a place to talk about "remote island". I was able to draw. "
I was happy to hear that the connection at the school triggered local activities, and that the school's "learning and making friends in the community" was realized. .
　
At the “Dream Plan” presentation, the plans created by each of the 9th students were told, and their passion wrapped the venue. "Let's become a happy old man!" I realized that what each student can do and what they want to do, such as "mind course for moms," "I am on the edge of the community," and "Neighborhood Association with a low threshold."
I hope that the 9th graders will move forward toward realization while warming their plans slowly. We look forward to your continued success as a regional leader.
