[51st] Midori Festival 2024 was held!

On Saturday, March 2, we toured the "Midori Festival 2024" held at the Midori Ward Citizens' Activities Support Center "Midorimu".
"Midorimu Festival" is one of the largest annual events in Midorimu, which has been celebrating its 17th anniversary since Midorimu opened in March 2006. This time, after the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was held for two days, March 2nd and 3rd, with no restrictions on admission after a long absence.
When I visited, there were social activities and lifelong learning related organizations registered in Midorimu in the venue, and "Slightly teachers" who are doing volunteer activities to make use of abundant knowledge, experience and special skills in the community. Presentations, booth corners, panel displays, etc. were held to introduce the contents of the activities, and visitors who gathered immediately listened eagerly and participated in hands-on demonstrations. Outside, there were also hot coffee and vegetables sold, and I also received delicious takoyaki and wiener. The wind was strong and it was still cold, but I was able to feel a little bit of spring.
I would like to thank the staff and volunteers who have been involved in this operation. Through your independent and active planning and operation, I would like you to do your best in the future so that the various inhabitants of the ward can enjoy lively activities while interacting with each other.

My teacher's balloon making is very popular with children.
Various activities were presented using video and other materials.
The activities of each group are well organized on the panel.
Even in cold outside, it warms up with coffee or takoyaki.
