[37th] The event "Midrin Marche" was held 1200 days before the 2027 International Horticultural Expo!

On Saturday, December 2, we held the Midlin Marche, an event 1200 days before the 2027 International Horticultural Expo at the site of Midori police department, about a 6-minute walk from JR Nakayama Station.

Thanks to the cooperation of many people, we were able to hold the first marche event at this location, including the GREEN x EXPO 2027 Photo Spot where you can take pictures with the Midori Ward character Midlin, JA Yokohama direct sales of agricultural products produced in Yokohama, lunch boxes sold by Yokohama locally grown and consumed Support Store, and opening a kitchen car. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people involved in this project.

At this event, with the cooperation of Wayne's Toyota Kanagawa Co., Ltd., we introduced initiatives to encourage visitors to enjoy the SDGs and locally grown and consumed while enjoying the event, such as a corner where visitors can sample new rice cooked with car electricity and a quoits aimed at nonstandard vegetables by Woo-By.Style Co., Ltd.

　The theme of "GREEN x EXPO 2027" to be held in 2027 is "environment." This Midolin Marche was also held in an effort to think about the environment. As we aim to create a new expo created with Yokohama's citizen activities, Midori Ward will promote the GREEN x EXPO 2027 so that many residents of the city can learn about it.
