46.A workshop for all members of the Izumi Ward Sports Promotion Committee was held.

　On July 3, the Izumi Ward Sports Promotion Committee Workshop was held at Nakawada Elementary School for the first time in three years. The Sports Promotion Committee is commissioned by the City of Yokohama, with the aim of creating opportunities for residents to easily come into contact with sports through local activities, and cooperates with the management of sports events held in Yokohama, such as theIzumi Ward Marathon and the World Triathlon SeriesIzumi Ward. Currently, 147 people are active, and this time the training was held once a year for all of them.
　Although it was held in a very hot and humid environment, about 100 sports promotion committee members participated, throwing sticks like bowling, defeating wooden pins, competing until 50 points, In addition to the practical training of "Petanque", which throws a metal ball on the target ball and competes for points by approaching the opponent, we also received a "lecture on emergency lifesaving" from the fire department. It was the first training in a long time, but for about three hours after a break, everyone was really working hard.
