On October 23 (Sun), the 37th Shimbashi Union Neighborhood Association Athletic Meet was held at Shimbashi Elementary School under the clear blue sky of autumn.
This year, the first time in three years, is held in the morning only with shorter time than usual. However, many people participated and participated in tug of war and obstacle races, etc., in which they were not participating in the competition. Was.
People from the welfare facility for the disabled "Pigrett" in the area also participate in the competition. In addition, those who are in group homes for the elderly rushed to support, and I realized that it was an event that is familiar to many people regardless of disability or age.
Although it was a short time, I think it was a valuable opportunity for everyone to move their bodies and interact with many people. It was a time when I was energized by the happy smile of everyone who participated. .
