64.I asked the "Senju Festival"!
The Senju Festival was held for the first time in three years at Izumi Kotobuki-so, a welfare center for the elderly in Nishigaoka, Izumi-ku, for the first time in three years on October 15 and 16.
Izumi Kotobuki-so, a welfare center for the elderly, is a facility that can be used by people over the age of 60 with the aim of improving health, improving culture, and providing hobbies and entertainment opportunities. There is an age limit for normal use, but on the day of the "Senju Festival", many people can participate regardless of age, and it is familiar to local people as a place for exchanges across generations Was.
The opening ceremony was held on the first day, with performances by Okazu Taiko.
In addition to announcements such as hula dance and ukulele, there were also exhibitions of many works such as pottery, watercolors, and wood grain dolls that you created with all your heart for this day. Outdoors, there is also a mock shop by local people, and I think that it was an opportunity for many local people to come and deepen exchanges.
The 16th was a very exciting weekend, with the Izumi Ward Min Sports Festival 2022 held at the adjacent Izumi Sports Center.
