62.In the fall of sports, I participated in a sports event of the district association!

On October 9 (Sun), athletic meet and light sports event were held for the first time in three years at the three district unions of northern Izumi, Nakata, and Shirayuri.
Although the wind was strong on the day, there was a sunny day, so it was a day for athletic meet.
<Izumi Northern District Athletic Meet >>
In the northern part of Izumi, we participated in the opening ceremony, but so many people participated and the officers were amazing. There is an entrance march in each Neighborhood Associations, the return of the championship cup from the winning team three years ago, and the oath of players by elementary school students.
Unfortunately, I couldn't support the competition, but I think it was very exciting to work together with my neighbors.
<<Nakata District Light Sports Event >>
In the Nakata area, a light sports event was held in place of a large athletic meet in order to promote exchanges with sports that everyone can enjoy while casually interacting with each other, such as molk, petanque, and quoits.
I tried quoits and molks, but this is surprisingly difficult.…Next time, I would like to practice a little bit before challenging.
"Shirayuri District Sports Festival"
Finally, this is the 44th athletic festival in the Shirayuri district that I visited. The competition was devised and very exciting so that various people, from children to the elderly, could participate.
I also jumped in and participated in the bread eating competition, but the bread shakes and I couldn't easily eat it.…。 But it was a good time.
In each district, the event was held while taking measures to prevent infection, such as shortening time and changing the content, but I feel that it was a very valuable opportunity to create exchanges and connections in the community. .
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the officers and the Executive Committee for their efforts in holding the event.
