77.I got on the "Atte"!

　I got on the local wagon-type bus "Atte", which started demonstration operation in November this year. The "Atte" circulates clockwise around Yayoidai Station in the Shimbashi district, starting from Midorizono-shi Station. In order to solve the difficulty of moving in the Shimbashi area with height differences, this demonstration experiment was finally realized through the enthusiastic activities of the members of the Shimbashi Bus Running Association, which was established six years ago.
　The origin of the "Atte" is that (1) support those who are in need by providing means of transportation in the community and understand that many people will be a little more convenient in the selection of Atte 2 routes, and invite them to increase opportunities to go out for health. It was named from Atte. Also, on the side of the bus, there is a picture designed by a fifth grade elementary school student depicting "Akuwa River, Ayame and common kingfisher".
　When you actually ride it, the inside of the wagon bus is surprisingly wide and comfortable to sit. The driver was very kind and called out, and I was able to ride with confidence. I went around 18 bus stops in about 30 minutes, but I realized the height difference in the Shimbashi area and the narrow road. I think the "Atte" will surely be useful as an outbound foot for elderly people and those who are worried about their legs. Demonstration operation verifies whether profitability is ensured and stable operation can be continued, and is a step toward full-scale operation. We hope that many people will use it so that the results of the activities of the local community will bear fruit.
