43.Flying in the sky high! Sagami Kite-The 13th Izumi Sagami Kite Flying Party was held-

　Izumi Ward has a traditional culture that has been passed down for many years. One of them, "Sagami Kite", is said to have a history of about 400 years, and can pray for the healthy growth of children and the harvest of five grains during the Dango Festival. The custom of kite flying, which had been cut off for a while, was revived by the members of the Sagami Kite Izumi Preservation Society in 2010, and this is the 13th time this time.
　The venue is a rice field area around Tenno Moriizumi Park. It began with the energetic performance of "Okazu Taiko", which had a friendship appearance, resonated, and in a large venue where people gathered to know that there was a kite flying.
　On the day, the wind was a little weak, so I was worried that the largest kite of 3 meters square would rise, but in the second challenge, I got on the wind and climbed up to nearly 50 meters high. After that, I was able to see a kite flying in the sky even higher and elegantly blue sky. It was a great opportunity for the audience to experience the traditional culture of Izumi Ward by manipulating the kite threads and touching the wadaiko.
　The ward office will continue to support the activities of the Izumi Traditional Culture Preservation Society, which works to connect Izumi Ward's traditional culture to the future, and create opportunities for many residents to experience traditional culture, one of the attractions of Izumi Ward.
