On the afternoon of August 20 (Saturday), we visited the 44th Summer Festival Nakada Summer Festival held at Nakata Elementary School Ground.
I was a little worried about the weather due to the cloudy sky on the day, but by the beginning of 2:30 pm, many children gathered. After the opening declaration, a performance by Nakata Elementary School Marching Band. This is the first time that this year's performance has been performed. The curtain of the festival was opened with a little nervous but energetic performance.
After that, there were fun game competitions, drum performances, and performances of the brass band at Nakata Junior High School. On the ground, there was also a entertainment where children could enjoy old games and morques, and I was able to meet many smiles.
The summer festival was held for the first time in three years due to the spread of COVID-19 infection.
