　If the monthly usage fee for using the The Long-term Care Insurance service (10% of the cost incurred (20% or 30% if you have a certain level of income) exceeds a certain upper limit, a portion of the excess amount will be refunded as an expensive nursing care service fee by applying.

However, there is a usage limit for nursing care services that can be used in one month for each degree of nursing care required, so only the amount paid by yourself within the limit is eligible.

Excludes service use outside The Long-term Care Insurance (food, room and daily living expenses related to the use of nursing care insurance facilities), welfare equipment purchase expenses, and housing renovation expenses. If there are multiple care recipients in same household, the total co-payments for the entire household can be added.

Regarding the application procedure, we will send you an application notice about 4 months after using the applicable service (may be delayed), so if you receive the notice, mail it or apply at the ward office Insurance and Pension Division National Health Insurance Section in your ward office.
