I received a notice of non-applicable burden limit certification, what is this?
This is a notice to inform you that the The Long-term Care Insurance Burden Limit Certification Application Form was not applicable because it did not meet the requirements.
The burden limit certificate is issued to those who have received social security, etc., and those who belong to households exempt from municipal tax and meet the following requirements.
For this reason, if a person who is subject to municipal tax is moved to same household, if the amount of income is taxable, or if the amount of assets such as deposits and savings exceeds the standard amount, the burden limit certificate will not be issued.
Requirements for issuing certificates
Phase 1
・Those who have received social security, etc.
・Households exempt from municipal tax ※Those who are receiving the old-age welfare pension in 1
Phase 2
For households exempt from municipal tax, the total amount of income from public pension, etc., tax-exempt pension income and other total income*2 is less than 800,000 yen per year, and the total amount of savings and deposits of the individual is less than 6.5 million yen (If there is a spouse, the total amount of the couple is less than 16.5 million yen)
Phase 3①
Municipal tax-exempt households whose total amount of income from public pension, tax-exempt pension, and other total income is more than 800,000 yen per year, or less than 1.2 million yen, and the total amount of savings and deposits of the individual is 5.5 million yen or less (if there is a spouse, the total amount of the couple is 15.5 million yen or less)
Phase 3②
For households exempt from municipal tax, the total amount of income from public pension, etc., tax-exempt pension income and other total income is more than 1.2 million yen per year, and the total amount of savings and deposits of the individual is less than 5 million yen (If there is a spouse, the total amount of the couple is less than 15 million yen).
※1 Household…Household on the Basic Resident Register to which the person belongs (including the spouse if the spouse is in another household)
※2 Other Total Income
…The total amount of income minus miscellaneous income related to public pension, etc. (the amount obtained by subtracting public pension deductions from public pension, etc.) (in the case of negative, it is calculated as 0 yen.)
※3 Deposits and savings…No. 2 insured persons are 10 million yen or less regardless of stage (20 million yen if there is a spouse) or less
