Q

What happens if Long-term Care Insurance Premium is delinquent?

Last updated on October 15, 2021.

Welfare, care
A

Long-term Care Insurance Premium is to be paid by the deadline, but if it is not paid, we will send you a reminder letter. If payment is still not made by the deadline specified in the dunning letter, a late payment fee may be added according to the amount of insurance premium and the number of days from the day after the specified deadline to the date of payment.
If you do not pay insurance premiums without any special circumstances, you may be seized as a delinquent disposal based on the law.
In addition, when using the The Long-term Care Insurance Service, insurance benefits related to the use of the service may be restricted depending on the period of delinquency.
