Why is Long-term Care Insurance Premium in Yokohama deducted from pension when I moved out of the city?

If you are transferred out of the city, the city of Yokohama will request pension insurers to stop special collection (request to stop deduction from pension), but it will take two to three months due to the administrative procedures of pension insurers.
If there is an insurance premium that has been overpaid, it will be refunded at a later date. If applicable, we will contact you via the Long-term Care Insurance Premium Refund Notice.
