What is the Address special case in The Long-term Care Insurance?
If you move to Address (resident certificate) to a facility location in connection with entering or moving into a facility in another municipality, you will remain an insured person in the municipalities before entering the facilityAddress.
The facilities subject to the Address special provision are as follows.
●Nursing homes for the elderly, nursing homes for the elderly, nursing care clinics
●Paid nursing homes, nursing homes, light-paying nursing homes (Type A and Type B), care houses
●Housing for the elderly with services that provide services that correspond to paid nursing homes
※Group homes and community-based facilities are not subject to the Address area special provision in The Long-term Care Insurance.
If you transfer Address (resident certificate) to a facility that is not eligible for the Address area special provision, you will be insured by the municipality where the facility is located.
