In the case of municipal tax taxable households, is there a burden reduction system when entering a long-term care insurance facility?

A

Insured persons of municipal tax taxable households are not eligible for the burden limit authorization in principle. However, if all of the following requirements are met, there is a system called special reduction measures to reduce the burden at the time of entering a long-term care insurance facility. The special reduction measures are not eligible for short stays.

Requirements for special reduction measures

All of 1 to 6 must be satisfied.
1 There must be two or more members of the household to which the insured belongs.
2. To pay for food and room charges in the fourth stage with entering the facility
3 The amount excluding the user's burden of the facility (10%, 20% or 30% self-pay, estimated annual food expenses and room charges) from the income of the 3 households must be 800,000 yen or less
4 The total amount of savings and deposits of households must be 4.5 million yen or less
5 There are no assets that can be used other than the assets provided for daily life.
6. There is no delinquency of Long-term Care Insurance Premium in households
