I want to change (rename) Mr., can I change it? Also, how do you proceed?

In order to change Mr., you need to file a petition with the "family court" and take steps to obtain permission to change.
He will be able to change his name only if it is determined by the "family court" that there is an unavoidable reason.
After obtaining his change permission at the Family Court, please submit a copy of determination of family court and a certificate of confirmation to the ward office Family Registry Division Family Registry Section.
(If a change is required due to marriage, divorce, adoption, adoption separation, etc., he will be changed by another notification. In this case, some may not require permission from the family court. )

About the notification address of Mr. change notification

・You may be a messenger other than applicant.
2 A certified copy of the determination of family court and one confirmation certificate issued by the Family Court.
