Where is marriage registration form reporting? Also, what do you bring when submitting a report?

What you bring and the notification address are as follows.

What you bring
- 1 marriage registration form (Notification form is common throughout the country.)
You can hand out marriage registration form paper and instructions on how to write them at the ward office Family Registry Division Family Registry Section or administrative service corner. (We do not hand it over at the city hall.)
In addition, we can download from page of electronic application, report service of Yokohama-shi website.
- You will need to present your photo identification documents (driver's license, passport, my number card, etc.) to confirm your identity in applicant. If your identity verification document does not have a photo, such as a National Health Insurance Card, you may be asked to present another identity verification document or ask questions.
(If you bring the written notice, you may be a messenger other than applicant.)
Notification destination
- It will be the "Ward Office Family Registry Division Family Registry Section" in the location of the applicant (husband and wife) or the ward where permanent domicile is located.
(It cannot be handled at the administrative service corner or city hall.)
- Even if you don't have Address or permanent domicile, you can report it at a ward office such as a wedding place. (For details, please refer to the "Ward Office Family Registry Division Family Registry Section" where you bring your notification.)
- In the case of delivery other than the ward office Hours, documents will be kept at the ward office's night/holiday reception desk, and the contents will be checked in the next Hours area, and then formally processed. If it is not officially accepted, we will contact you so be sure to include the Phone number that can be contacted during the daytime on weekdays.
Description of marriage date of family register, etc.
- The date of notification is indicated as the date of marriage. (For marriages established in a foreign country, the date of establishment is described as the date of marriage.)
- It is not possible to specify the marriage date to be listed and accept it in advance, so if you want to specify the marriage date to be listed, please bring your notification on the desired date.
- If you send it to someone other than the ward office Hours, your marriage date will be the day you keep it at night or on holidays.
