Can I continue to use digital certificates if I change my name in Address?
Last updated on August 30, 2024.
Digital certificates for user certification can continue to be used until the expiration date, even if there is a change in Address or name.
The digital certificate for signature will expire due to changes in Address or name, so if you want to continue using it, you will need to change the information on the front of your My Number Card and reissue the digital certificate at the Family Registry Division Registration Section office in your ward office. In addition, you can reissue an electronic certificate at the My Number Card Special Center under the jurisdiction of your ward only if you have completed the procedure for changing the items described.
