How long does it take from applying for a My Number Card to receiving it?

About one month after applying, we will send you a letter of delivery (postcard). If you do not receive a postcard within a month and a half, please contact Family Registry Division Registration Section, the ward office of your ward.
If you receive the delivery notice (postcard), please make a reservation at the My Number Card Special Center under the jurisdiction of your ward or the ward office in your ward. (If Nishi Ward residents receive it in Nishi Ward Office, you do not need to make a reservation.)

• The delivery notice will be sent by mail that does not require forwarding. If you have a transfer setting, please contact your ward office Family Registry Division Registration Section.
• If you move out of the ward after applying, your application will be invalidated and you will need to reapply.
• If you move in the ward after applying, you will receive a new Address in the postscript column on the front. Please note that the postcard will be sent to the original Address, so if you move before you receive the notice, please contact the ward office Family Registry Division Registration Section.
