What is the Address when building a new building or rebuilding?

In the case of new construction, rebuilding, or changing the entrance of a building in a town where the residence is displayed, please submit a “Building Change Notification” for Address settings.
Please note that if you do not submit this notification, you will not be able to perform the transfer procedure.
In towns where the residence is not displayed, the lot number of the land where the building is located is Address.

You can perform the procedure in one of the following ways.
・Online (Yokohama City Electronic Application and Notification Service) (outside site)
・Visit to the counter (Family Registry Division Registration Section, the ward office in charge of the ward where the building is located) ※Weekdays 8: 45-17: 00 / 2nd and 4th Saturday 9: 00-12: 00
・Mail (to Family Registry Division Registration Section, ward office responsible for the ward office in charge of the ward where the building is located)

• A sketch (guidance map) near the building ※Please indicate the location of the building.
• Layout drawing ※Please indicate the line from the entrance to the road with a red arrow.
