It's new! Nishi Ward Tekuteku Sketch: 31st Mitsubishi Dock Crossing

From the Takashimacho intersection to Sakuragicho Station, the long elevated tracks of the former Toukyu Toyoko Line and the JR Negishi Line continue. There is a passage near the Hanasaki-bashi bus stop and there is a "Mitsubishi Dock Crossing" right away. There are freight branch lines and Takashima lines from Sakuragicho Station to Tsurumi Station. In the past, the railroad track stretched to Yokohama Port. Beyond the railroad crossing and the Metropolitan Expressway, there is a modern landscape of Minato Mirai 21 district such as Landmark Plaza Shopping Center. In the past, there was a vast Yokohama culvert company (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Yokohama Shipyard), and the main gate of the company was located across the railroad crossing. In the morning and evening, a large number of employees had passed under the elevated tracks and railroad crossings. It seems that there was also Takashima Gate in the direction of Yokohama Station. When I was sketching, the railroad crossing began to sound "Khan Khan", the circuit breaker descended, and the electric locomotive passed. Railroad crossings are still active.
