From Sakuragicho Station, take the Minato Mirai 21 side, get on the Moving Walkway, and pass through theQueen's Square Yokohama.
Opened in 1997 in Heisei 9, it is a commercial complex with four buildings covered with crowns, including a stylish shopping mall and a hotel. If you go through Queen Mall, you will find a giant "station core" with a huge atrium from the third basement floor to the fourth floor above ground in the center.
In the atrium, there are red aerial passages and two long escalators in the red, with elevators rising and descending. It looks like a future city that appeared in Osamu Tezuka's SF manga "Astro Boy", etc., which I was absorbed in when I was a child.
The escalator can be reached at Minato Mirai Line Minatomirai Station on the third basement floor, which opened in 2004.
It used to be a sea where fish were swimming smoothly off the Yokohama Dock.
