It's new! Nishi Ward Tekuteku Sketch: The 27th Hodogaya Road④

When Yokohama was opened in late Tokugawa shogunate, he walked along the Hodogaya Road, which was often used as a way to get from Hodogaya-juku.
Enter the Nishimae shopping street from Fujidana Ichibangai. Old shops such as tableware shops, stationery shops and laver shops are lined up, and Nishi Ward is close to Ganjoji, an old temple. In the past, Hodogaya Road used to pass in front of Ganjoji Temple.
After passing the shopping street, you will find Nishi Ward Office at the intersection. At the end of the intersection, there is a steep slope "Kurayamizaka" on the right. There are various theories such as "Kurashimi", which climbed while stopping the horse for a steep slope, and "dark", which was dark when Kiki was thriving.
If you go up the steep slope, you will find Nisi Junior High School City on the right, Isecho mokusei Park on the left, and two small shrines (small shrine) beside the park. I am a graduate of Nisi Junior High School. If you knew it was a historic road, you would have had a different feeling of going up this steep slope at that time.
After walking for a while, we went out on a wide street, joined Yokohama way, and down Nogezaka from Noge's cut-off, the harbor was close.
