It's new! Nishi Ward Tekuteku Sketch: The 33rd Hamamirai Walk

From the east exit of Yokohama Station to the Minato Mirai district, many people cross the "Hamamirai Walk" humanitarian bridge (Jindo Kyo).
If you go between the Sogo Dept. Store (Shin-Toshi Hall) Yokohama store and the Yokohama Sky Building on the second floor, you can see Sea Bass Terminal (To Yamashita Park,Minato Mirai Pier) and high-rise apartments on the left and Landmark Plaza Shopping Center on the right. Depending on the day, the scent of poons and tides makes you feel close to Yokohama Port.
As soon as you go to the right, you will find the Hamamirai Walk, a smart bridge over the Katabira River. It is 101.5 meters long and 10.4 meters wide, opened in July 2009 (Heisei 21). One side has a curved wall and roof, so you can cross without getting wet even on rainy days.
After crossing, NISSAN walk in the Nissan Global Headquarters Building. The first floor is the Nissan Gallery, a gorgeous car exhibition hall. When you leave the building and cross the Minatomirai Pedestrian Bridge, the landscape of the Minatomirai district buildings, which will continue to develop in the future, spreads out.
